Diablo 3 reaper of souls what's new. Heroes of Diablo III - Reaper of Souls. ⇡ Adventure Time

On first launch Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls in normal mode, you don’t even notice how easily and simply the character makes his way through the hordes of demons. Nobody pays attention to mistakes, because after death there is always the opportunity to be resurrected right on the battlefield. Items and characters are devalued.

It’s another matter when a character is created in the so-called. Heroic Mode, "heroic mode". One stupid mistake - and the hero goes to the cemetery along with all his goods. The level of difficulty cannot be ignored here, and even more so one cannot ignore the character’s equipment. The cost of a mistake is extremely high, but the reward for defeating the most powerful boss is corresponding. Below we give some important tips that will definitely help you survive in the world of Diablo III, where it has suddenly become much hotter than usual.

Co-op or single player?

Playing with a group is at least more fun. Firstly, defeating any boss is an event, the joy of which is always pleasant to share with a friend. Secondly, if your internet goes out in the middle of a battle, your team can cover and save your character from certain death. Thirdly, during a cooperative game, more valuable things drop out than in a single game. Found items are evenly distributed among team members, although there is always a chance that an ally will get armor or a sword that would be perfect for your character; in this case, the item can be transferred to someone to whom it is more important.

Class selection

After installing the Reaper of Souls add-on, six characters are available to the player: monk, sorcerer, wizard, warrior, demon hunter and crusader (the latter appeared in Reaper of Souls). Each of them has unique techniques (combinations of abilities vary depending on play style and personal preference). But what is most interesting is that they are all equal to each other. After the release of the addon, there is no hero who would stand out among the rest: everyone has weaknesses and strengths. They all appear after the first 20 minutes of the game.

For example, mages, sorcerers and demon hunters are better off not fighting opponents up close. They have low durability and armor. To keep monsters away, the magician casts a ring of cold, the sorcerer calls on zombie dogs for help, and the demon hunter sets slowing traps.

For warriors, everything is a little simpler. It is initially preferable for them to run with a shield, thanks to which the durability parameter becomes noticeably several times higher. Their job is to keep the focus of enemy creatures, not to cause damage. For this, there are magicians, sorcerers and demon hunters who stand behind their comrades and distribute to everyone left and right.

The main thing: no matter who you play, always have an ability ready that will help you quickly leave the battlefield. For a demon hunter it is “somersault”, for a crusader it is “horse”, for a sorcerer it is “walk of the spirit”, etc. This is extremely useful in caves and castles, where there are narrow passages, and the battle with any boss turns into a real torture. There is no room for error, so it is better to calculate in advance all the escape routes and retreat at the right moment, using the appropriate skill. In heroic mode, you need to think more often about how to survive, rather than kill. There is a known case where a level 70 barbarian killed the final boss of Reaper of Souls over the course of three hours; the lion's share of time was spent on maneuvers.

Dress smartly

Item characteristics are the main feature of Diablo 3. It is not without reason that they say that the game is an endless hunt for unique items. Some of them seem completely useless, others seem to be supposed to strengthen the character, but for some reason they don’t. Nobody wants to dig into formulas, so here’s your first piece of advice: first of all, look at the damage and durability indicators.

The durability indicator is a combination of such parameters as vitality, armor, protection from physical damage, resistance to all elements, etc. The higher the durability, the better: when a character has high damage, but weak armor and low elemental resistance, any boss will smash him into the wall with five hits.

The best weapons up to level 70 are a one-handed sword, axe, dagger, spear, bow, crossbow or staff with a socket for gems. You definitely need to insert a red ruby into the latter, which will almost double the damage. Ideally, a weapon should pump up a profile characteristic (intelligence, strength, agility) and vitality, which adds health to the character and increases the overall stamina parameter. Better than the listed options is only the so-called. “legendary” weapon that improves the parameters of critical hit and attack speed (at a high level these are priority characteristics). After reaching the maximum level, it makes sense to insert an emerald into the weapon, as it increases critical damage.

It is preferable for melee fighters to take a shield in their left hand rather than a second weapon. Mages, sorcerers and demon hunters should also focus on finding specialized equipment that will add unique characteristics. It is best when a shield, arrow quiver, magic amulet and other items have a socket for gems. As a rule, only the crusader benefits from two-handed cannons (his passive ability allows him to run with a two-handed weapon and a shield). They are of no use to everyone else, because two items (dagger + magic amulet) in total provide more useful characteristics.

The helmet must also have one socket for gems. You can insert either a ruby into it, which will give an increase to the experience gained, or an amethyst, which will increase the hero’s health by several percent. Chest armor and leggings should also have sockets for gems (it is advisable that both items have two slots). Use them not only to increase damage, but also to improve lagging characteristics responsible for durability. Diamonds, which increase resistance from all elements, and amethysts will help with this.

The craftsman is your friend

Although the latest patch added the Loot 2.0 system to the game (items dropped by enemies now give the character the characteristics he needs), in heroic mode it is very important to create items yourself. So if you are just at the beginning of your journey, you should do two things: save up gold and dismantle unnecessary items in the forge. It’s best to put the ingredients in the chest: you never know what will happen in the next five minutes. After the death of a character, all items that were stored in the chest can be used by the new hero.

In addition to ingredients and gold, collect pages and entire books, as well as an especially rare resource called "Breath of Death", dropped by elite monsters at level 61. They will help increase the skills of three craftsmen (blacksmith, jeweler and fortune teller), as well as create the most useful items for the character. Having upgraded artisans to level 12, all subsequent characters will be able to use their services without restrictions up to level 70. There is no need to upgrade your skills from a blacksmith, jeweler or fortune teller after creating a new character.

In most cases, the death of a character is due to low damage and durability for a specific location or difficulty level. The problem can be solved simply: you need to go to a blacksmith, create a new shield, armor or weapon and insert a gem into it.

The more complex, the more interesting

As you progress through the game, do not forget to increase the difficulty level. The higher the difficulty, the more experience and gold you will receive. If you feel that a character is doing little damage but is receiving a lot of damage in return, it is better to take a step back than to continue digging his own grave. Don't forget that the game always adapts to the character's level. So to speak, so that you don’t accidentally feel like a king.

BOSSES

More than twenty unique bosses await you in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, but not all of them are capable of creating problems for you. Let's focus on the most difficult ones to communicate.

Butcher

The final boss of the first act. When fighting with him, you need to watch your step. Periodically, in one place or another, flames will appear from under the ground, in which the hero cannot withstand for a long time. Always dodge the hooks that will fly in your direction if you find yourself at a great distance from the Butcher. If you get caught, be prepared that in the next second a giant hammer will fall on the hero’s head. This is fraught not only with damage to health, but also with mild concussion. Also pay attention to the trail of fire that the butcher periodically launches. If you see her heading in your direction, get ready to meet the devil's spawn.

Belial

The final boss of the second act. Belial periodically spills puddles across the entire platform, each of which explodes three seconds after appearing. Such an explosion is enough to kill a hero. There is only one option: run from side to side until Belial stops misbehaving. Do not under any circumstances drive yourself into a corner and stand under Belial's paw. At one point, you either won’t see the puddle that will spill under the character, or you simply won’t be able to escape.

Diablo

The final boss of the fourth act. So powerful that magicians, archers and sorcerers are better off staying away from it. If your character fights only in close combat, make sure that the durability parameter is as high as possible, and that in your left hand there is a good shield instead of a second weapon. There will be no problems with Diablo if the hero does not catch fireballs and step into black spots. A delay in the latter will result in a short-term but painful imprisonment of the hero. After Diablo's health is reduced to half, the character will enter the realm of Terror. There he will meet not only the devil, but also his exact copy. The latter must be killed very quickly, otherwise it will cause a lot of trouble. Upon returning to Diablo, a new ability will appear: he will periodically release electrical charges. At a high level, this skill causes a lot of damage, it is not recommended to run into it.

Urzael

The first boss of the fifth act. Masterfully wields a flamethrower of his own making. In the second half of the battle, he begins to release tongues of flame and also bring down beams of fire on the hero’s head.

Adria

The second boss of the fifth act. It is quite easy to destroy, but under one condition: if the hero does not stand in pools of blood. At the end of the battle there are so many of them that most of the time you just have to run from the boss rather than attack him.

Malthael

The final and most difficult boss of the fifth act. Avoid clouds on the battlefield, dodge skulls and souls that fly in your direction. Having lost half his health, Malthael will change tactics: at this moment it is better to stand behind him. Otherwise, just stay calm and don’t get into trouble.

Game tested on PC

Diablo 3, released two years ago, turned out to be a good game, but by no means a perfect game. However, Blizzard would not be itself if it did not take into account the comments and complaints of players who have progressed beyond several playthroughs and revealed deep problems with the mechanics inherent in the threequel. Therefore, it is not surprising that the release of the Reaper of Souls add-on was preceded by detailed and lengthy work on bugs.

As a result, even before March 25, Diablo 3 got rid of the auction house, and the loot system associated with this decision was thoroughly redesigned. The abilities of different classes have changed, the mechanism for choosing difficulty levels and developing improvement levels has changed, new events have appeared in the existing four acts, and so on. In general, before the release of Reaper of Souls, it became noticeable that the game had changed for the better. And if all this preparation was just a pleasant aperitif, then the addon itself became a real feast.

⇡ Defeat Death itself

From the first seconds of getting acquainted with the add-on, anxiety creeps into the soul - something is wrong... Ah-ah-ah, that's the point - there are no lags, freezes, ping jumps, crashes and other antics caused by increased load on the servers, like this was at the launch of Diablo 3. Despite the stated 2.7 million copies sold in the first week, Reaper of Souls did not step on the “Error 37” rake.

Your eyes are already lighting up, aren't they?

Of course, then all attention is captured by the fifth act itself, which can rightfully be called the best in the whole action. The dirty streets of Westmarch, torn apart by evil spirits, its gray cemetery and the disgusting catacombs passing under the city, covered with the ashes of endless battles between angels and demons of the Pandemonium plain, and against the backdrop of all this hopelessness is the main villain Malthael, personifying Death itself. New enemies organically fit into the atmospheric environment - here you have black seraphim magicians swollen from decay, hounds capable of giving the hero a good beating with their jaws, and other restless souls. In general, the final chapter turned out to be gloomy and dark in a good way, in many ways even in tune with the gothic charm of the first Diablo.

The new class, the crusader, looks very appropriate in this setting. And in other acts, this warrior of Light, clad in heavy armor, is able to show the creatures from the depths of hell where the fallen spend the winter. The developers conceived him as an impenetrable hero who relatively slowly accumulates anger (his main resource), and then, with the equanimity of a multi-ton roller, smears the hordes of infernal monsters into a thin layer. However, the variety of skills and runes allows you to adapt the crusader to any situation and style of play - for example, a sort of analogue of the rather fragile paladin from Diablo 2, who with incredible speed splits the skulls of enemies before they can do the same to him, has a right to life . But don't forget that this is a Blizzard game - which means that the preferred development options will change along with balance changes made by future patches.

⇡ Adventure time!

Of course, if you run through the fifth act once, a logical question will arise: what were 900 rubles given for? But the point is that Reaper of Souls, like the main game, is designed to improve the hero, the pursuit of better things, the inevitable subsequent increase in difficulty and breaking teeth on tough opponents, leading to a repetition of the “vicious circle”. That is, for multiple playthroughs. But the difference between the addon and the main game is that it makes this scheme work from the moment of release Right.

Only today and only in our arena! Sorceress and templar against spinning flamethrowers and hordes of skeletons!

Reaper of Souls brings an impressive amount of high-level content to Diablo 3 that simply won't be seen in one quick playthrough. Players who reach level seventy will be able to knock out a ton of new legendary and set items from monsters, as well as recipes and ingredients for making them. Most of these trophies are only available on Torment, a new difficulty level that can only be conquered as part of a proven group or with a well-equipped champion.

Those who have not yet achieved the highest “enlightenment” will also find entertainment. After completing all five chapters once, the character unlocks “Adventure Mode”. Having chosen the desired act, you receive half a dozen random assignments scattered across the locations of this act - for example, completely clear a single cave, kill a unique boss, take part in a specified event, and so on (there are enough options for many races). At the same time, on every inch of land you have to literally cut through enemies standing in a dense wall, there are so many of them. Experience flows like a river, and powerful monsters fall in packs on the cold ground, dropping things of epic power - in general, “Adventure Mode” represents the quintessence of Diablo gameplay, unencumbered by a plot and a sequence of quests tied to it.

Here it is worth paying tribute to the work done with the “drop” system. Items are no longer lying around anyhow, as was the case in auction times, but mostly those that are suitable specifically for your class - the chance of ending a grandiose battle for a monk with receiving a magic rod “plus a thousand to intelligence” is vanishingly low. And if a good thing still has a property that is not entirely appropriate, it can be changed by a fortune teller for an additional fee. The same as the appearance of any object.

Where are we going this time?

The rewards in “Adventure Mode” are not limited to the goods obtained during battles - after completing all five tasks, get ready to open the chest given by Tyrael, as well as spend the received bloody shards at a new merchant. The idea is the same as with the boy Wirt from old Tristram or the Guide from the bandit camp in Diablo 2 - objects with unknown properties are purchased for fragments, and the result depends solely on luck.

Completing quests in the new mode also rewards you with gems needed to open Nephalem Rifts, gateways to randomly generated multi-level dungeons that promise even more loot and combat. However, this idea is not fully thought through - there is no additional motivation for exploring the territory inside the portals. Now, it feels like it’s much more interesting to jump into another act and complete five more tasks than to run through an endless dungeon without a special goal (which can hardly be considered a meeting with a random boss).

The conclusion from all of the above is quite obvious. Reaper of Souls cannot be judged in isolation from the changes that transformed key systems in Diablo 3 shortly before the expansion's release. But it was in conjunction with them that the addon made the game what it should have been originally. Now this is, without any reservations, an interesting and exciting Action/RPG that not only knows how to reward players, but also makes you want to return to it again and again thanks to its rich high-level content. If you missed the “diabolical” threequel at one time or were dissatisfied with something, Malthael and company give a good reason to change your mind.

Advantages:

  • interesting and atmospheric fifth act;
  • great work on Diablo 3 bugs;
  • upon reaching the maximum level, everything is just beginning;
  • generous rewards and exciting missions in Adventure Mode;
  • a new artisan, a new class and fresh abilities for old heroes.

Flaws:

  • in a good way, important changes in game mechanics were expected much earlier;
  • We hope you're not looking for a deep and insightful story here.
Graphic arts Despite the fact that the add-on is separated from the original by two whole years, visually the game has not become worse. When you get closer, of course, the low resolution of the textures catches your eye, but the heated battles still look impressive and colorful. 8
Sound A very rich and textured soundtrack to match what is happening on the screen. The mighty blows of the crusader and the screams of the dying evil spirits drown out the local music, but you enjoy it, not complain. 9
Single player game The newly arrived righteous warrior showed himself excellently in solo mode - if an experienced blacksmith “lives” on your account, and your chest is bursting with precious stones and gold, you can quite throw yourself into the pool even on “Torment”. 9
Group game Reaper of Souls comes into its own when you gather a group of friends and take on Adventure Mode on the highest difficulty levels. In pursuit of the desired trophies, you can fall out of the real world for many hours. 9
General impression The addon brought Diablo 3 into the form for which millions of fans of the Action/RPG genre love the games in the series. Blizzard learned its lessons and got it right this time. 9

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls

Video:

Room "Gambling". As a nice gift to readers, we post it on the website shortly after the publication of the magazine.

From time to time, other materials from the printed “Gaming Mania” will appear on the site ahead of schedule. When and what - we won’t tell you. Follow announcements and publications.

The crusader holds an enormous shield in one hand, and a heavy flail in the other, which a second later he points at Satan’s skull. The Warrior of Light charges into the crowd on a flaming steed, soars into the air like a superhero, and lands on the devils with crushing force. Bones fly apart, one of the horned ones is cut into two parts - the fight against evil in Diablo 3 never stops.

It would seem that Diablo is defeated, but Sanctuary is still under threat. The angel of death Malthael decided to rid the world of filth in the most effective way - to cast a little magic on the soul stone and completely cleanse people of evil. The consequences of such a purge, however, will be terrible - everyone will die. Well, then, peace will reign: there will be no one to unscrew the horns of the demons, and all the devilry will instantly disappear.

From heaven to earth

The new act, Westmarch, looks gloomy and is somewhat similar to the very beginning of Diablo 3, except that instead of cathedrals and crypts we descend into spacious underground burial grounds, carefully make our way through the swamp and tear the throats of all sorts of devils somewhere in heaven, on the eternal battlefield . More mundane places, however, are much more memorable, especially a huge cemetery and a labyrinthine tomb with narrow corridors, which is infested with hordes of scarab beetles.

Somewhere Reaper of Souls quotes a classic. For example, in the swamps you need to look for special altars and check symbols in order to enter the correct catacombs - a common thing, just like in the second act of Diablo 2.

We have not yet gone to the world of torment, but our allies there are already very bad.

At large levels there are small locations where individual scenarios are often played out. So, you can easily skip the sideline with the overthrow of the local government in Westmarsh and not encounter the mini-boss. They tried to diversify the locations in the act as much as possible, and even the completely optional places to visit look great - especially the dungeon under the city. There are conveniently located ovens in which corpses are burned. The enemies, however, do not want to burn and would rather bite something off for you than agree to forced cremation.

Monster combinations look interesting: monsters are arranged in such a way as to disorient, distract, or slow down the hero. Thick damned seraphs freeze the ground under their feet. Other reapers create an aura around themselves as thick as jelly. Some creatures call on a crowd of undead to help. Giant monsters stun the hero with one clap.

As for the bosses, the battle with Malthael is much more interesting than the one-on-one battle with Diablo in the finale of the third part. Largely because the battle arena here is several times smaller, and the villain not only attacks directly, but also controls the space around him - he sends out harmful fog, hits with magic that covers a wide area... Under such pressure, willy-nilly, you try to keep your distance, while doing so yourself the angel of death almost never lets you breathe out, constantly trying to come closer and hit the hero hard with his bony hand.

With some skill, the sorceress can very well be a melee character, you just need to choose the right legendary items and skills.

No rest for heroes

To get the most out of the addon, we strongly recommend playing as the Crusader, a new character. The warrior of light, although he seems strong, often feels more like a sorcerer in multi-layered armor. The hero has a good talent for crowd control - for example, a crusader can make creatures crawling from everywhere freeze in place for a few seconds. You begin to truly appreciate the ability in co-op at a high level of difficulty: when you are on your last legs stopping a bunch of enemies, and your friend quickly sends a meteor shower on the freaks, it seems that there are simply no cooler partners than you.

The old characters, however, were not left out of attention either. Firstly, the maximum level was raised to seventy, and secondly, the “perfection” system was changed - now, in fact, there is no highest level in the game. Having reached 70 levels, you do not stop developing, but continue to accumulate experience - you can earn at least three hundred “promotions” from above and be a great guy.

The map in the expansion has been redone. Not to say that it is now flawless, but it has become more convenient.

Upon reaching a new level of “perfection,” the hero gains points that can be used to improve basic or additional characteristics such as critical strike chance or running speed. Frankly speaking, this doesn’t change much: a hero of 50 perfection level is not much different from a hero of 150, except for the number above his head.

Thirdly, all characters have new passive talents and one active ability. The sorceress, for example, causes a black hole that sucks in all living things, and the sorcerer, with the power of thought, forms a whole lake with hungry piranhas under the feet of the crowd.

Active skills now correspond to the elements: fire, ice, electricity, and so on. And items now have properties that give a bonus percentage to damage from a certain element. In other words, now there is another way to accelerate the power of attacks and at the same time try out different combinations of skills and runes. Moreover, the game encourages experimentation; The “Nephalem Valor” system, when it was necessary to destroy rare monsters and not reconfigure the build, is already a thing of the past. Even before the release of Reaper of Souls, the developers changed the game a lot: they closed the auction, changed the chances of rare items dropping, slightly tweaked the system for distributing characteristics and bonuses for these very things - it’s called Loot 2.0.

Each time the fortune teller demands more and more money to change the desired characteristic.

New vision

A bunch of changes combined with the fresh Adventure mode from Reaper of Souls have made Diablo 3 noticeably leaner and more logical, and this is one of the reasons to return to the game if for some reason you are disappointed in it.

Before the patches, everything was pretty dreary: you knew what items you needed to collect for the optimal build, but there was an unaffordable price between the hero and the desired item. Do you want that cool ax with the right characteristics? You'll never get one like this, pay up. Legendary items were given to only the most stubborn, and they knew the price - they immediately went to auction and earned a small fortune. Thousands of players went to fight evil spirits not for fun, but to get a rare item and make a profitable deal.

Gold accumulates, problems begin with the joints in your index finger, but you don’t notice it: you analyze the situation on the market, adapt to each new patch... All this, of course, was interesting, but it practically took the excitement out of the game.

Merchant Kadala sells mysterious items for Blood Shards. There is a chance that a legendary item will drop, but we haven't had that much luck yet.

At some point, Blizzard realized that this couldn’t go on forever; roguelikes should be more about experimenting with builds, finding rare items, and short-term gaming sessions with a clear goal. And so they took it and made a paradigm shift. For starters, legendary items and artifacts with suitable characteristics now drop more often.

From now on, you know for sure that you can play for half an hour or an hour and find something valuable - either some kind of upgrade, or a legendary item that can be disassembled for parts and melted down into a useful item. If, say, plate armor with a significant bonus to strength falls out, the characteristic can be replaced - the addition has introduced an NPC fortune teller who, for a substantial reward and some consumables, enchants items and even changes their appearance.

It is clear that Loot 2.0 needs some new framework - running through boring levels over and over again and listening to already memorized lines is not interesting, and it does not suit the new pace of the game at all. This is where Adventure mode from the addon comes to the rescue. In the new mode, a hero or group completes five quests in different acts (“kill 100 enemies and a rare monster” or side quests with simple context), after which they receive a box with items and special parts for opening a Nephalem portal. The portal begins roguelike in its purest form - a set of random locations with unpredictable monsters. We kill several hundred creatures, face a particularly powerful boss, receive a reward and special shards that can be exchanged with a new seller for items with arbitrary characteristics.

A new monster - a bone dog - can urinate on your corpse.

* * *

This is not to say that Diablo 3 has suddenly become a perfect game. In Adventure mode, for example, there wasn't much variation within a single act: we had to clear out a Khazr's lair multiple times or help a loser stuck in a torture device. On the other hand, complaining about monotony in this case is stupid, because burning out devils and demons is already an established process.

The main thing is that the frequency of all bonuses and surprises is now precisely calculated and forces you to go through one level after another. The player finally has motivation. Now there are fewer reasons to quit the game halfway: it’s one thing to collect an unattainable amount bit by bit, and quite another to go through a couple of adventures and almost guarantee something interesting.

Reaper of Souls brought the game closer to the basics of the genre, and in general you can study game design from Diablo 3: after the release, many details were changed several times, all of this is documented on the official website and provided with comments from the developers. But this is hardly the end of the road - just as the crusader tirelessly fights evil, so the designers zealously improve the already good mechanics.

Did you wait? Diablo 3 is for the impatient: the need to trade items at auction has disappeared, the game has a structure and the pace has increased. All so that you focus on the main thing - exterminating monsters.

Greetings, O great Nephalems! It's been a while since you and I saved the world. I don’t even remember exactly whether it was on Thursday or at the beginning of last week. So much water has flown under the bridge... Pi-pi-pi-pipipipipi. It looks like the sarcasm meter is hinting that it's time to get down to business.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition- this is the good old Diablo III, but with an additional act and a new set of trophies, and as you know, everything new is well-forgotten and previously knocked out. Blizzard We decided not to bother too much and, as in the case of Diablo III, added trophies from the list of in-game achievements. The trophies are not difficult, but you will have to waste a lot of time!

Complexity

Time

Platinum in the game is simple, because... You can set the difficulty level to minimum and run through the entire game without straining, although you will spend more time, because... The amount of experience gained depends on the difficulty level If you don't get distracted by trophies (is this possible?), then solo it will take you about 80-90 hours. The bulk of the time will be spent leveling up 6 characters to level 70. Moreover, towards the end, the hunting process will become more and more dull and monotonous. Special greetings

Walkthroughs

Glitchy

You will need to complete the game 2 times. To begin with, in normal mode, after which hardcore will open, death in which is fraught with the loss of the character and everything that he is wearing. But there is no need to worry, because... The game in this mode is quite simple, and the cloud has not been canceled! A number of trophies may glitch when playing in co-op mode, NOT being a host (I1). Either upload your saves to the cloud (on a flash drive) before fulfilling the conditions of these trophies, or leave the co-op before receiving them and finish them off solo. I advise you to protect yourself in advance, because... After fulfilling the conditions for receiving trophies and not losing them, you will have to start all over again. Protect yourself and copy your saves before completing the conditions described below for the trophies. Details below:

This guide does not describe “illegal” ways of obtaining resources and equipment, such as dupe, etc. They will make your passage a hell of a lot easier, but I am for fair play!

Platinum in the game is quite simple, but not particularly fast: after all, it won’t be possible to get 6 characters to level 70 quickly. There are no trophies tied to a certain difficulty level, but the amount of experience and gold gained directly depends on it. I advise you to start the game at the normal difficulty level and increase it as you understand the mechanics and level up your character: you feel that the monsters are dying from your very breath, raise the difficulty level. There are also two modes in the game: ordinary And heroic. We start the game in normal mode, and we’ll talk about their differences below.

There are 6 classes in the game, each of which we have to level up to level 70, and first you need to decide who you would like to play for first. Having chosen this class, forget about it for the next 50 hours, because... I advise you to play for him in heroic mode last of all.

It's also worth noting the co-op: the guide describes how to get platinum when playing solo, but you will make your life much easier if you play either with friends or with strangers in an open game, because for increasing the size of the group you will receive a bonus to experience. Well, if you have a level 70 friend in good equipment, it would be a sin not to take the opportunity and ride on his back!

A completely ordinary, unremarkable regime. After death, you can be resurrected in the city, or in the place of your death.

Nothing new: we run through quests, study the mechanics, and dive into the plot. The game has V acts, each of which contains a certain number of bosses. Bosses shouldn't cause any special problems, because... This is not DS and no special approach is required: knead and eat the jars!

Finally, the story campaign is completed and the entire rich world of Sanctuary is open to you, and with it the long-awaited adventure mode. Surely, after completing the campaign, you did not reach level 70, so the first thing we do is raise the first character to 70.

  • About quality: It’s worth leveling up while completing assignments in adventure mode. I advise you to complete the instructions of Acts I and III, because... they are the least time-consuming. For completing all the instructions of one of the acts, in addition to experience and money, we will receive “Treasure of the Horadrims” and “Portal Stone” as a reward. The first is a kind of chest that contains money, equipment, including legendary ones, and gems, usually all at once, and the second is a resource necessary for opening Nephelem portals. They will be discussed below in the corresponding subsection of the guide.

Having upgraded the first character to 70, we select the next class. Now the adventure mode will be open to you from the very beginning of the game, so it’s worth downloading in it. The difficulty level can be safely set to high.

The artisans, chest, and money will be saved from the previous character, which will make leveling up the remaining heroes much easier.

For PS3 version the method of pumping with a steam locomotive is relevant. You connect up to three additional controllers and upgrade three characters with the main hero to level 69, after which you need to get each of them level 70 on your own.

  • About gems: During your first playthrough, you should have accumulated a fairly large number of marquise-cut rubies, and if you haven’t, you can combine gems of a lower cut level, since the cost is acceptable. Around level 20, with the help of a Blacksmith and a Fortune Teller, you need to obtain a weapon with a socket that gives a bonus to the main characteristic (Strength, Dexterity or Intelligence, depending on the class). Next we go to the Jeweler, insert a gem into the socket and it has +160 damage. This action should be repeated every 15-20 levels.

We do the same with the helmet and get a 33% increase in experience for each gem.

There is also a way to quickly complete certain tasks on the Torment VI difficulty. In these orders you do not need to kill anyone, but just run to the NPC and try not to die. I haven’t tried this method myself, so I can’t recommend it.

The main feature of the heroic mode is the impossibility of resurrection: as soon as you die, the character with all the experience and accumulated wealth will sink into oblivion.

I would also like to note that exchange between heroes from different modes is not possible, i.e. Having 5 heroes in normal mode, you will not be able to transfer equipment or resources to a naked character from heroic. Imagine starting the game from scratch. Accordingly, artisans will have to be upgraded again.

The hour has come when you will take the most desired class. Why your favorite class? This is already the 6th pumping and therefore it is necessary to find a second wind, and methodically go through act after act, and not get into trouble shouting: “When will this pumping end?!” And who will help you with your second wind, if not the most desirable class?

Next, the audience will be divided into two camps: those who copy saves to the cloud or flash drive and the hardcore “If you’re dead, start over.” You can, of course, take the middle path and copy saves at the beginning or end of the act.

Leveling up to level 70 in heroic mode is not much different from leveling up in normal mode. The only thing: I wouldn’t recommend cranking up the difficulty. As they say: “The one who knows how to wait wins.”

According to tradition, the last stage is to knock out the missing trophies, of which there should have been very few left.

To get all the trophies related to artisans (Blacksmith, Fortune Teller, Jeweler), in addition to a number of actions described below, you will have to level them up to level 12. Upgrading occurs in the "Training" section. To do this, select the item that we want to create/combine/transmogrify in the future. To get each level you need to select 5 items one by one and pay money. To upgrade the Blacksmith and Jeweler to level 11, in addition to money, you will need “Breath of Death”. It drops exclusively from special monsters, starting from level 61.

  • Blacksmith
"Mending." We repair any item, or all items at once.
  • Jeweler
"Inlay". To insert, in addition to the gem, you need equipment with a socket inside.
"Merge". Surely during the course of the game you were attacked by a bunch of different gems. We choose what we want to create from what and combine it.
  • Fortune teller
"Enchanting" You need to enchant all types of equipment and put them on yourself.
  • General
In total, we create either from the Blacksmith or combine from the Jeweler 100 items.
